Dec 01, 2008 - Transportation Options Expanded with Personalized Chauffeur Service
SALT LAKE CITY - Highland Cove Retirement Community recently expanded its transportation schedule with personalized chauffeur services. Chauffeur services are now available daily Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for medical/dental transportation, shopping, visiting etc.
Residents can schedule chauffeur services through the front desk by 3 p.m. at least one day prior to their transportation request. Medical appointments take precedence over recreational trips.
"Highland Cove has always offered medical transportation to its residents," Stan Ketcher, general manager, said. "We are now pleased to expand our service to five days per week with additional drivers. This allows our wonderful residents more flexibility with their medical appointments and a plethora of shopping options, especially during the holiday season. Residents even have the option of going shopping or out to lunch together collectively."
Highland Cove, owned by Century Park Associates, offers living accommodations to more than 250 residents. Highland Cove provides a care continuum with independent and Type I assisted living. Highland Cove also offers on-site physical and massage therapy, podiatry, beauty salons, physical fitness classes, scheduled transportation, shopping and a wide variety of activities.
