Dec 01, 2008 - Highland Cove Offers Residents Optional Services Plan
SALT LAKE CITY - Highland Cove Retirement Community now offers 55-plus independent senior apartments with optional services. The one- and two-bedroom accommodations are located in the Highland Cove Lane complex, 3839 Highland Cove Lane, and are appointed with washer, dryers, stoves, refrigerators and emergency pull cords. All apartments include utilities, cable T.V. and continental breakfast. Carports with storage are also provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.
"We are excited to offer seniors the ultimate in independent senior living options with our incredibly spacious Lane apartments," Stan Ketcher, general manager, said. "Residents can have a basic apartment with utilities or may customize with housekeeping, meals, transportation, recreation and fitness or daily security check al a carte. This opens up a new world of possibilities for both current residents and resident prospects in Highland Cove's finest accommodations. It is also an attractive option for those affected by our volatile economy."
Highland Cove's 650-square-foot one-bedrooms are priced at a base rate of $900 with the 910-square-foot two-bedrooms at a base rate of $1,200. Housekeeping can be added for $25 per occurrence, meals at $7 per meal of $200 for lunch or dinner/month, transportation for $200/month or $12 per trip, recreation and fitness at $200/month (or fitness separately at $100/month) and daily security checks for $100/month. I love living at Highland Cove because I chose to "Be There" in lieu of keeping up a big house and two-acre yard. Being pampered and having gorgeous Utah mountain views is also a perfect joy! You too will agree after the first visit.
