May 1, 2002 - Highland Cove Hosts Re-Grand Opening Celebration Featuring Utah Celebrities, Food and Entertainment July 13
SALT LAKE CITY – Highland Cove Retirement Park, 3750 Highland Dr., will celebrate the completion of its three-and-a-half million dollar facelift with a re-grand opening celebration on July 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Festivities will include Utah celebrity guest appearances, food and entertainment. The public is invited to attend.
“Our newly remodeled facility is just one example of our commitment to do ‘whatever it takes’ to provide our residents with the finest quality care and amenities,” Stan Ketcher, Highland Cove general manager, said. “Since 1978 Highland Cove has continuously stood at the forefront of Utah’s finest retirement living.”
The remodeling, which began in October 2000, included the installation of new carpeting, lighting, windows, porticos, elevators, landscaping, a putting green and paved walkways.
Ketcher concluded, “We invite everyone to our re-grand opening celebration to see first-hand our beautifully remodeled facility and the quality care our residents enjoy.”
Highland Cove, owned by Life Care Centers of America, offers living accommodations to more than 250 residents. Highland Cove provides a continuum of care with one/two bedroom and studio independent apartments, several assisted living styles and intermediate care. Highland Cove also offers in-house physical and massage therapists, a podiatrist, beauty shops, a jacuzzi, transportation for medical appointments and shopping, cable, parking and a wide variety of activities.
